Am Ufer des Rheins, unter dem Schatten von Mogontiacum, entfaltete Rom seine Disziplin über die Wasser. Die Navis Lusoria, schnell und lautlos, patrouillieren den Strom wie hölzerne und eiserne Schlangen und tragen die Legio XXI in die germanische Wildnis.

An der Bugspitze erhebt sich der Centurio, fest wie eine Bronzestatue, mit rotem Mantel und Blick aus Stahl. Seine Haltung ist ein Urteil: Er führt die Seinen ans Ufer, wo Nacht und Wald verschwören, und erinnert daran, dass Rom selbst vor der ungezähmten Natur nicht zurückweicht.

Hinter ihm schlagen die Ruder das Wasser im militärischen Takt, während die von Fackeln erleuchtete Festung die Grenze bewacht. Ein Rabe beobachtet von einem Ast, ein Omen des Wilden, das sich niemals unterwirft.

Germanien ist mehr als eine Provinz: Es ist die Grenze zwischen Ordnung und Wildnis, der Ort, an dem das Imperium den Wald hört… und der Wald antwortet.

 GERMANIA — Mogontiacum y el Rin

En la ribera del Rin, bajo la sombra de Mogontiacum, Roma desplegó su disciplina sobre las aguas. Los Navis Lusoria, veloces y silenciosos, patrullan la corriente como serpientes de madera y hierro, llevando a la Legio XXI hacia la espesura germana.

En la proa, el Centurio se alza firme, con manto rojo y mirada de acero. Su postura es sentencia: guía a los suyos hacia la orilla donde la noche y el bosque conspiran, recordando que Roma no retrocede ni ante la naturaleza más indómita.

Detrás, los remos golpean el agua con cadencia militar, mientras la fortaleza iluminada por antorchas vigila la frontera. Un cuervo observa desde la rama, presagio de lo salvaje que nunca se somete.

Germania es más que una provincia: es el límite entre el orden y lo salvaje, el lugar donde el Imperio escucha al bosque… y el bosque responde.
