The Centurio of Vetusta Victrix LEG XXI does not belong to the cold marble of Rome, but to the burning dust of Palmyra. There, beneath a sun that shows no mercy, is where his command becomes truth.
He does not lead from the shadows — he leads from the heat, from the wound, from the sand that clings to the skin.
His face bears a scar that seeks no drama, only memory. It is the mark of someone who stood on the front line before earning the right to give a single order. Perhaps that wound came from a clash against barbarians in Ratisbon (Germania), where he was once stationed, or in Lusitania against local tribes — who knows. And yet he stands tall, proud.

The vine staff rests in his hand as a symbol of responsibility, not punishment. He does not strike to humiliate, but to remind that discipline is the only thing keeping men alive under that sun.

Palmyra rises behind him — broken columns, golden stone, air trembling with heat, suspended dust, white light falling like lead upon souls.hout arrogance. His pride is not personal; it is the pride of the legion.
